Our Story

We are four Swedish friends with deep roots in the Swedish community here in Australia. Over the years, we’ve shared countless moments celebrating our heritage, and now, we feel it’s time to bring Scandinavians together in an even bigger way!

Nordic Events is our way of continuing to support and strengthen the Swedish and Scandinavian community in Brisbane. But beyond that, we want to welcome anyone who shares an interest in our culture and traditions. Whether you're Scandinavian by birth, heritage, or simply by heart, there’s a place for you here.

From Midsummer dances to Lucia lights, we believe traditions are meant to be shared, and nothing brings people together quite like good food and coffee. We love creating experiences that make people happy and satisfied—whether it’s through a warm cup of fika, a festive celebration, or simply the joy of coming together.
